Where the Wild Things Are Clip.
Love, Love, LOVED this book as a wee little toddler, and to see it being made into a movie is just good times. I thought it was weird to have Spike Lee direct it, but from what I see in the trailer, I’m reconsidering my opinion. Clip just invokes that warm and fuzzy feeling inside, doesn’t it? Hit up the picture for the link!
Edit – Huh, looks like it was pulled down. How embarrassing for me. I shall go on the prowl for another way to find the clip. I’ll update once again if I find it!
Tech Demo for Alone in the Dark 5.
Wasn’t too excited to play this game, as I haven’t been the hugest fan of the series. But this tech demo has really got me impressed. Seems like you could really come up with some interesting combos to really do some fun things. Of course, this isn’t the extent of the technical abilities of this game, as the developer said in the video. Just part one of the series. Stay tuned for any updates! Here’s the virtual tour of Arcade Heaven.
Here is the virtual tour of Luna City Arcade, that one place Peter Hirschberg created, remember? In case you don’t live anywhere close (like me) or if you were just curious to see how it would look like (like me), then this video is for you. Need a planet destroyed?
Then use the Hercules Laser! Yeah, it’s pretty strong like that. Apparently, the University of Michigan had some spare time on their hands so they developed this laser that is basically the most intense laser known in the universe. It sustains the light for 30 femtoseconds (one femtosecond is one billionth of a second) and the light is concentrated into a 1.3-micron point, which is pretty small. We are talking smaller than a strand of hair. To learn more about this behemoth, visit their site at University of Michigan.
