Street Fighter movie cast expands, still searching for another Raul Julia.

Chun-Li’s movie (the one that stars Kristen Kreuk, not that abomination in the 90’s with Van Damme) is starting to see some more bigger names being attached to it. Chris Klein and Michael Clarke Duncan have signed on to star in the films as Nash (Charlie to us Americans) and Balrog, respectively. Pretty good news so far as I thought that this may just end up being another horrible film. Looks like they are taking this at least a little serious. Too bad about Raul Julia though. Honestly, could anyone else fill the role of Bison as well as he did? R.I.P. Raul Julia.

Finally, a large cylindrical aquarium.

February 19, 2008 at 2:59 pm (Electronics)

Bored of the same old non-cylindrical aquariums? Yeah, so was I. That’s why when I stumbled upon this behemoth of an aquarium that just so happened to be cylindrical, I jumped for joy! Okay, not really but it was still cool to see. Never seen anything like it before. It’s a beast too, measuring at 25-meters high, 238,000 gallons, 2,600 different kinds of fish and it has an elevator in the middle to better facilitate the viewing of the fish. Nice, huh? It’s called the Aquadom and it’s located in the atrium of the 5-star Radisson SAS Hotel in Berlin Mitte. More pictures after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »

Wolverine Movie the center of casting rumors/gold.

February 19, 2008 at 1:21 pm (Movies)

So that Wolverine movie, it’s exciting stuff. I loves me some Hugh Jackman and his portrayal as Wolverine so I love that they are basing a movie solely on him. But what news has got me all excited like a little schoolgirl? Well, it would be a couple of things. First, Ryan Reynolds (big fan of him) is rumored to be sending his attention to Deadpool instead of Flash and he may be featured in the Wolverine movie which could lead to the Deadpool movie. Second, it would appear as though we finally get to see Gambit in action as the casting announcements have well, announced him. Taylor Kitsch (who you might recognize as that one guy in Friday Night Lights) has been cast as Gambit. Which will be interesting to see as I feel that he can do some decent acting. I’m just excited to finally see Gambit in a X-Men movie. Took long enough.
